Participating to one of our international congresses on Stereology and Image Analysis is probably the best way to experience ISS. But, joining us for a Short Course or publishing in one of our Journals is another way of becoming actively involved.

Furthermore, we plan to open an online forum for our members and invited guests in the course of 2010. This will no doubt be a very efficient way to share with you the knowledge and experience of our members.

 

 

The International Society for Stereology (ISS), was founded in 1961 and incorporated in 1963. It is ruled by a board including regional representatives for the different continents. Read the bylaws.


The official journals of the Society are the Journal of Microscopy and Image Analysis & Stereology (formerly Acta Stereologica).
